This could be anything—from self-critical thoughts (“I’m not good enough”) to beliefs about life situations (“I’ll never be able to change this”). Be honest and non-judgmental—this is for your eyes only.

2. Look for Patterns — After a few days, start to look back at what you’ve written. Do you notice recurring themes? Are there specific triggers (like stress, social interactions, or challenging tasks) that bring up negative thoughts?

3. Challenge Your Beliefs — Select one belief that stands out and ask yourself, “Is this really true?” Are there examples that challenge this belief? What would you say to a friend who was feeling the same way?

4. Reframe with a New Perspective — Take that limiting thought and reframe it into something more empowering. For example, “I’ll never be able to improve” can become, “I’m learning to make positive changes every day.” Even a small shift can have a ripple effect on how you feel and act.
