How do Values, Limiting Beliefs, Assumptions, Gremlins and Habits show up in the Rodeo Arena?

How do your values, limiting beliefs, assumptions, gremlins, and habits show up for you in the Rodeo Arena, was the topic of our 3rd podcast.  Today, let’s touch on roles and habits in the rodeo arena.

Roles – What is your role with your traveling partner when you pull into the rodeo or jackpot?  How does your rig handle parking, watering/feeding horses, figuring out the cattle and score, lining up the calf pusher and video person.  Do you just fend for yourself or does your rig have a system for taking care of each of these responsibilities.

For me personally, finding the video person is usually one of my highest priorities and I have been know to ask two different people.  There is not a wrong way to video however I guess I do have a preferred way to be videoed if that makes sense.  I like the phone to be held sideways and from the right side about a ¼ to 1/3 of the way down the arena, nothing too specific, LOL.  Where to you prefer to have your video from?  I find from this specific spot, I can see what I can, how my horse left, my left hand, the distance to the calf and my timing.  And I also have found that if I have a consistent spot, then I am more likely comparing apples to apples.

Why are habits important on the day of the competition?  I find that if I have a routine both myself and my horses know what to expect when and how to manage our adrenaline/nerves throughout the day.

If you need some help defining your what habits are important to you, let’s get on a call and see if coaching is a good fit for you.  https://calendly.com/brainbodymethod
